Summary

Linear bank and ditched features are visible as cropmarks and earthworks on aerial photographs in fields between Badbury Rings and Target Wood. They are potentially field boundaries of later prehistoric of medieval date and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.

Full Description

ST 96300217, two ditches i) to NW, length 470m mostly an ill defined broad band; ii) to NNE length 320m. Possibly related to 'Celtic' fields at S. <1-2>

Linear bank and ditched features are visible as cropmarks and earthworks on aerial photographs in fields between Badbury Rings and Target Wood <3-4>. They are potentially field boundaries of later prehistoric date or medieval date and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
