Full Description
Cropmarks representing a possible oval or circular enclosure are visible on air photographs taken 15 April 2002. The cropmarks comprise two arcs of paired ditch which may represent parts of the circuit of a bivallate enclosure. <1>
The possible site of a double-ditched oval enclosure is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs to the east of High Wood, Pamphill <2>. The feature comprises two arcs of paired ditches possibly forming the northwest and southeast sides of an oval enclosure sub-rectangular, 55m across. It is likely to be of later prehistoric date and was digitally recorded during the Dorset Middle Stour AI&M Project.
