Full Description
A group of round barrows on Deverel Down in Milborne St Andrew and Winterborne Whitechurch parishes. 'G' - SY 82359933. Grinsell (1959) lists a bowl barrow at this position (Milborne No 10a), 13 paces diameter and ?6 ins high quoting the RCHM records. However, in the RCHM Inventory (1970) no mention of this barrow is made.
'G' Not found (Barton 1981).

'The grid reference places the site on the parish boundary between Winterborne Whetechurch and Milborne St Andrew. To S of fence is Longthorns Plantation which consists of mature and coniferous and deciduous trees. To N is a field regularly ploughed, newly ploughed and planted with grass when visited. No visible trace although its position would be a good one. Papworth MDJ, TWA 18.12.85.'
