Summary

The probable site of a later prehistoric ring ditch is visible as a cropmarks on aerial photographs and was digitally recorded during the Dorset Middle Stour AI&M Project. It is one of a close group of cropmark ring ditches and possible mounds which together may form a Bronze Age barrow cemetery.

Full Description

The probable site of a later prehistoric ring ditch is visible as a cropmarks on aerial photographs (1) and was digitally recorded during the Dorset Middle Stour AI&M Project. It is 10m across with a possible gap on the northwest side. It is one of a close group of cropmark ring ditches and possible mounds which together may form a Bronze Age barrow cemetery along with MDO5873, MDO5874 and MDO5875.
