Summary

The probable site of a later prehistoric ring ditch is visible as a cropmarks on aerial photographs and was digitally recorded during the Dorset Middle Stour AI&M Project. It is one of a close group of four ring ditches which may be the sites of Bronze Age round barrows or later prehistoric hut circles.

Full Description

Four ring ditches on air photo form a tight group very close to [ST 90 SE 24], Romano-British debris.
Diamters (approx): ST 95530213 - 12m, ST 95540214 - 12m, ST 95560214 - 12m, ST 95560212 - 14m. Nature uncertain. <1-2>

The probable site of a later prehistoric ring ditch 11m across is visible as a cropmarks on aerial photographs <3-4> and was digitally recorded during the Dorset Middle Stour AI&M Project. It is one of a close group of four ring ditches which may be the sites of Bronze Age round barrows or later prehistoric hut circles.
