Full Description
An unannotated hollow is marked on the Ordnance Survey 1st edition map to the north of Blandford Road (1). It is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery (2) and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project. It may be a post medieval chalk pit or associated with the rifle range marked on the 1st edition map which was situated immediately to the north of the feature.
