The probable sites of ten small post medieval chalk pits are visible as cropmarks and earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery in the field to the east and southeast of King Down Farm, Pamphill (1-2). They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
