Full Description
The probable sites of three post medieval chalk pits are visible as cropmarks and earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery in a field to the south of Badbury Rings, Shapwick (1-3). They are between 14m and 20m across and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
