Full Description
St 95170269. Linear feature visible on air photographs, overall length 970 m. Intersects [ST 90 SW 18] at 95350295. The feature shows as a dark band up to 18m wide, possibly a road line [transcription plan]. (1-2)
A group of ditched enclosures and field boundaries immediately to the south of the junction between two later prehistoric linear boundaries (MDO43841 and MDO43843) to the north of Crab Farm. They are considered likely to be contemporary with the boundaries as they respect their alignments. The features are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs (3) and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
