Full Description
Linear banked features within fields on the east side of Tarrant Launceston are visible as cropmarks and earthworks on aerial photographs and Environment Agency lidar imagery [1-2]. The features align with the historic field pattern and are likely to be field boundaries of possible medieval to post medieval date, although they also align on a section of the Roman road between Badbury Rings and Bath, so it is possible they are earlier in origin. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
