Full Description

A probable Bronze Age bowl barrow, additional to those initially recorded as the Hyde Hill Plantation cemetery group (see ST 91 SE 61). The site is centred at ST 9493 1061 and comprises an incomplete ring ditch which is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs taken in 1988, once the woodland has been removed and the area converted to arable. The ring ditch measures 15.5m in diameter and has a short break to the south-east, although this may be caused by the tramlines of the modern ploughing pattern. <2>

Other round barrows in the cemetery are recorded as ST 91 SE 193 to 204, 233, 234, 236 and ST 91 SW 116.
