Shrunken village remains. Earthworks associated with area of shrunken settlement are visible on 1940s aerial photographs, and potentially as less well defined low earthworks on lidar imagery, sugggesting some may be in a poor state of survival.

There are shrunken village remains at (ST) 652202 in the form of at least one house platform and several long toft or close banks covering 12 acres on the north-east side of the village. <1>

Earthworks associated with area of shrunken settlement are visible on 1940s aerial photographs, and potentially as less well defined low earthworks on lidar imagery, sugggesting some may be in a poor state of survival (RAF 1947; EA 2022).
