Full Description
A rapid examination of air photography <1.1> suggests the presence of a number of probable round barrow sites, of Prehistoric or Roman date, visible as ring ditch cropmarks at: d - ST 6131 1573. <1>
The feature is visible as a semi- circular cropmark on HEA aerial photographs taken in 2013. It has been cut by the later road, the southern half potentially removed or truncated by the road's construction (HEA 2013).
