Full Description
A rapid examination of air photography <1.1> suggests the presence of a number of probable round barrow sites, of Prehistoric or Roman date, visible as ring ditch cropmarks at: c - ST 6127 1572. <1>
The feature is visible as a semi- circular cropmark approximately 25m in diameter on HEA aerial photographs taken in 2013. It has been cut by the later road, the southern half potentially removed or truncated by the road's construction (HEA 2013).
