Summary

Formerly a chapel of Cerne Abbas. The chancel, nave and south chapel were probably built in the second half of the 13th century and the west tower was probably added in the late 15th century. The north porch may date from the 17th century. Restoration of the church was undertaken in 1876.

The Parish Church of All Saints, Nether Cerne, formerly a chapel of Cerne Abbas, is built of local rubble banded with flints, and has freestone dressings. The chancel, nave and south chapel were probably built in the second half of the 13th century and the west tower was probably added in the late 15th century. The north porch may date from the 17th century. Restoration of the church was undertaken in 1876. Grade B. (2,3)
