Listed Building record MDO43734 - St Mary's Church, Wraxall

A parish church with a 12th century nave and chancel, altered in the 13th century. A chapel was added in the 14th century, but subsequently demolished. The bellcote and south porch are 19th century in date. Listed.

St Mary's Church. C12th nave and chancel with C13th fenestration. A chapel built on the North side in the C14th was demolished at an unknown date. Restored in the C18th when a wall was built outside the arch to the former North chapel, and the South porch and bell-turret were added.

Grade I.

An early C18th table tomb to Francis Bennett, d. 1728, is listed Grade II*. (2-4)
