Summary

Fine example of a camouflaged Second World War pillbox, which survived in its original condition to circa 1980. It was disguised as a summerhouse, and covered an important road junction over a road tunnel out of Bournemouth, at Charminster.

Fine example of a camouflaged pillbox, which survived in its original condition to c. 1980. It was disguised as a summerhouse, and covered an important road junction over a road tunnel out of Bournemouth. [The current condition is unknown - 2001]. Bournemouth. <1>
