The remains of a possible Iron Age, Roman or medieval field system centred at ST 8450 0395, visible as soilmarks extending across several fields to the north-east of Winterborne Clenston. Traces of possible medieval ridge and furrow could also be seen (as soilmarks) extending across earlier field banks and lynchets. <1>
