Full Description
A single ring ditch of a probable Bronze Age round barrow visible as a soilmark at ST 8622 0251 can be seen to the north of Ashe Farm on aerial photographs taken in 2015 as part of the Historic England Reconnaissance Recording Programme. Two further barrows are recorded to the east (NRHE 205645). These all lie within the slight earthwork/soilmark remains of an extensive coaxial embanked later prehistoric or Roman field system which can be seen extending into adjacent fields. <1>
