An Iron Age uninscribed gold stater (type B.5), found near Blandford (ST 8806), is in the collection of H. Durden of Blandford. <1>

An uninscribed gold stater (type K 9/10) is said to have been found near Blandford. <2>

An Iron Age gold stater of 'Yarmouth' type (Mack 31, Evans K9/10) has been found at Blandford (Evans p.446). Three Iron Age gold staters of 'Chute' type (Mack 32, Evans B5) have also been found at Blandford. One is mentioned by Evans (p.61); two more were in the Durden sale in 1892. The Durden coins went to Farnham Museum. <3>

As the type B.5 coin recorded by Evans <1> was in Durden's collection, it seems possible that only two of this type were found. <4>
