Full Description
Slight traces of contour strip lynchets (around SY 813-968) are now almost ploughed out but were probably part of the open fields of Milborne Stileham (See SY 89 NW 64). <1-2>

'(16) CULTIVATION REMAINS. The dates of enclosure of the open field systems in the parish are unknown; remains are noted in three places. About ½ m. N.E. of Weatherby Castle (around 813968) are slight traces of contour strip lynchets, now almost ploughed out; they were probably part of the open fields of Milborne Stileham.’
