Full Description
Stock Gaylard Deer Park. William de Cantiloupe is recognised as possessor of a deer park in Stock in 1236. Probably the oldest deer park in Dorset, it now encloses 116 acres and has a herd of 70 fallow deers. <2>
The acreage is recorded as 78 acres containing 70 deer in 1892. <3>
