Full Description
(ST731122. Sited from Auth 1 and OS 10000 1983) Once a manor dating to the reign of Richard II, the buildings of the Medieval settlement of Lydlynch Baret stood on the old road from Stourton Caundle to Okeford Fitzpaine. The name is little used today and the place is now more commonly known as Hydes. <1>
