Full Description
(ST 7318) Roman coins are said to have been found near the station at Stalbridge. <1>
Mr. Loader, who was station-master at Stalbridge for 30 years and who lived at the station after his retirement, had never heard of any Roman or other coins being found in the locality of the station. Other people questioned had no knowledge of the alleged finds. <2>.
