Full Description
Centred at ST 894207. The south-west facing re-entrant above East Melbury has a number of well defined medieval strip lynchets. These are set in NE-SW, and N-S directions to follow the contours. The lynchets are from 1.0m. to 2.0m high and from 7.0m to 12.0m wide. The area is one of rough pasture. <1>
