: Opened 1784. Primary inurned cremation with bronze pyre material. and later skeletons of man, woman and child (woman died in childbirth) covered with large stones. Associated with two inverted urns ð one with burnt bone and the other with a 3-riveted bronze dagger, antler pick near base of barrow ; said by Warne to be a foundation deposit
