The line of the medieval road from Charmouth to Chard is followed by the present road from Charmouth to Wootton Fitzpaine. It continued north past Guppy and Wootton Hill, and then is again followed by the modern road.

Full Description

(Centred SY 364962) A Medieval road from Charmouth to Chard is marked by the present road from Charmouth to Wootton Fitzpaine. It now stops at Knapp Farm (SY 364957) but formerly continued north by Guppy (SY 362966) and Wootton Hill, where again it is followed by a modern road. <1>
