Summary

A farmhouse built in the seventeenth century. The building has walls of flint and stone rubble with some blue lias quoins, and a thatched roof with brick chimney stacks. The front door leads into a cross passage. A tablet over a ground floor window has the inscription 'King Charles II stayed here September 22 1651. Erected March 31 1902'. Surviving features of the interior are reported to include plank partitions in the cross-passage, chamfered ceiling beams and an open fireplace.
