Summary
A field boundary of possible medieval date is visible as a curvilinear ditched earthwork on a 1947 aerial photograph taken to the west of Slough Farm, Rampisham. The feature appears to overlie an area of possible medieval ridge and furrow (MDO42496). It was digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project.

Full Description
A field boundary of possible medieval date is visible as a curvilinear ditched earthwork on a 1947 aerial photograph taken to the west of Slough Farm, Rampisham [1]. The feature appears to overlie an area of possible medieval ridge and furrow (MDO42496). The feature was digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project. It is still visible as a cropmark on 2009 PGA imagery [2].
