Full Description

Medieval or later field boundaries are visible as earthworks on a 1947 aerial photograph taken to the north of Uphall Farm, Rampisham [1]. The features comprise a curvilinear ditched earthwork and a linear banked earthwork located within two historic fields on the north side of Yard Lane. They were digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project. The features are still visible as cropmarks on Google Earth imagery.
