Summary

Scarped and ditched linear earthworks are visible on aerial photographs taken to the west of Chantmarle Farm, Frome St Quintin. The earthworks are recorded as the site of a deserted medieval hamlet. Scarped and ditched linear earthworks are visible on aerial photographs taken to the southwest of Frome St Quintin <3-4>. The earthworks appear to form a series of irregular platforms linked by linear hollow ways and are recorded as the site of a deserted medieval hamlet (NRHE Hob UID 943610). They were digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project.The earthworks are still visible on Google Earth imagery.
