Summary

Banked and ditched linear features are visible as earthworks and cropmarks on aerial photographs taken to the northwest of Frome St Quintin. The features are considered to be historic field boundaries and possibly drainage ditches of medieval or later date and were digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project.

Full Description

Banked and ditched linear features are visible as earthworks and cropmarks on aerial photographs taken to the northwest of Frome St Quintin [1-3]. The features are considered to be historic field boundaries and possibly drainage ditches of medieval or later date and were digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project. Many of the features remain visible on Google Earth imagery.
