Full Description

A ditched and scarped sub-circular feature is visible as an earthwork on a 2007 aerial photograph on Middle Hill, Cattistock (1). The feature comprises of a shallow scarped depression approximately 19m in diameter, with a 6m in diameter pit towards its north side. It may be a post medieval extractive pit and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Frome AIM project.
