Summary

Regular banked and ditched linear features are visible as earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs to the northwest of Brookway Farm, Cattistock. The features may be field boundaries of post medieval date, although it is possible they are older in origin. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Frome AIM project.

Full Description

Regular banked and ditched linear features are visible as earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs to the northwest of Brookway Farm, Cattistock (1). The features are narrow and regular in character and may be field boundaries of post medieval date, although it is possible they are older in origin. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Frome AIM project.

The features are partially under trees but are still mostly visible on Google Earth imagery.
