A spread of sub-circular ditched features are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs on Folly Hill, Sydling St Nicholas (1). The features are probably post medieval extractive pits, possibly chalk pits. Some of the features are cut into earlier earthworks, possibly Iron Age cross dykes (MDO43126).

The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Frome AIM project.
