Full Description
An irregular ditched feature is visible as an earthwork on 1940s aerial photographs at Up Sydling, Sydling St Nicholas (1). The feature comprises a 33m by 20m irregular depression situated against a historic field boundary on its west side in the NW corner of a historic field. The feature may be a post medieval extractive pit. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Frome AIM project.
The feature is no longer visible on Google Earth imagery.
