Full Description
A sub-circular scarped feature is visible as an earthwork on 1940s aerial photographs within Frome Park Coppice, Frome St Quintin (1). The feature measures approximately 20m long by 12m wide and may be a post medieval extractive pit. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Frome AIM project.
The feature is under trees but is still visible on current Google Earth imagery.
