Two sub circular ditched features are visible as earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs on Hillfield Hill, Hillfield (1, 2). The features are considered to be post medieval extractive pits and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Frome AIM project.
The features are under trees and not visible on current Google Earth imagery.
