Full Description
Curvilinear scarps are visible as earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs in a field to the southeast of Flowers Farm, Hillfield (1, 2). The features are recorded as old chalk pits on the OS 1st Edition map (3). They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Frome AIM project.
The features are under trees and not visible on current Google Earth imagery.
