Two sub-circular scarped features are visible as earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs in a field to the southeast of Flowers Farm, Hillfield (1). The features are considered likely to be post medieval extractive pits. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Frome AIM project.


The features are still visible on current Google Earth imagery.
