Full Description
A series of closely parallel banked linear features are visible as earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs in a field to the east of Flowers Farm, Hillfield. The features may be lynchets of possible medieval date, or alternatively cultivation ridges/ridge and furrow of medieval to post medieval date. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Frome AIM project.
The features are still visible on current Google Earth imagery.
