Areas of ridged and ditched cultivation are visible as earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs to the south of Church Farm, Hillfield (1). The features are considered likely to be those of medieval broad ridge and furrow and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Frome AIM project.
The features are no longer visible on current Google Earth imagery.
