Full Description
Banked and ditched linear and curvilinear features are visible as earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs within fields to the northwest of Flowers Farm, Batcombe, Hillfield (1, 2). The features are considered likely to be historic field boundaries of probable post medieval date, although an earlier origin is also possible. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Frome AIM project.
The features are still visible on current Google Earth imagery.
