Summary
A banked curvilinear feature is visible as an earthwork on 1940s aerial photographs within a field to the east of Church Farm, Batcombe. The feature may be a medieval lynchet, although alternatively may just be a result of the local topography. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Frome AIM project.

Full Description
A banked curvilinear feature is visible as an earthwork on 1940s aerial photographs within a field to the east of Church Farm, Batcombe (1). The feature may be a medieval lynchet, although alternatively may just be a result of the local topography. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Frome AIM project.
The feature is below trees and not visible on current Google Earth imagery.
