Summary
A banked linear feature is visible as an earthwork on 1940s aerial photographs within a field to the east of Church Farm, Batcombe. The feature may be a historic field boundary of possible post medieval date, although an earlier origin is also possible. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Frome AIM project.

Full Description
A banked linear feature is visible as an earthwork on 1940s aerial photographs within a field to the east of Church Farm, Batcombe (1). The feature may be a historic field boundary of possible post medieval date, although an earlier origin is also possible. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Frome AIM project.
The feature is still faintly visible on current Google Earth imagery.
