Full Description
A sub-circular ditched feature is visible as an earthwork on 1940s aerial photographs in a field to the south of Batcombe (1). The feature may be a post medieval extractive pit and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Frome AIM project.
The feature is still faintly visible on current Google Earth imagery.
