Full Description
Banked and ditched linear features are visible as earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs within fields at Batcombe (1-4). The features are considered likely to be historic field boundaries of probable post medieval origin, although an earlier date is also possible. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Frome AIM project.
The features are still visible on current Google Earth imagery.
