Full Description
Banked and ditched linear and curvilinear features are visible as earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs within fields at Batcombe (1). The features are considered likely to be historic field boundaries and trackways of possible medieval origin, although a post medieval date is also possible. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Frome AIM project.
Some of the features are still visible on current Google Earth imagery.
