Full Description
Linear banked features are visible as earthworks and cropmarks on aerial photographs in the area of Plain Botttom, Maiden Newton (1-3). The features are considered likely to be field boundaries of possible late prehistoric date, although a later origin is also possible. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Frome AIM project.
The majority of features are still visible on current Google Earth imagery.
