Multiple sub-circular pits are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs across the area of Peak End Hill, Sydling St Nicholas (1-3). The features are considered likely to be post medieval chalk pits. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Upper Frome AIM project.
The features are still visible on current Google Earth imagery.
